Whispers of Shiva

Image
There is something deeply calming about Lord Shiva. You don’t need to know mantras or rituals to feel his presence. You don’t need grand offerings or complex traditions. You just need silence… and a heart that seeks. Shiva is the stillness in chaos, the quiet behind the noise, the peace after a storm. He is both the dance and the dancer, the fire and the ash. He wears the crescent moon in his hair, yet his mind is steady like the vast sky. The Ganga flows from his locks, yet not a strand moves out of place. Serpents wrap around his neck, yet children call him "Bholenath", the innocent one. He does not sit in a palace; he rests on the cold, snow-covered mountains. He wears no silk robes or golden crowns; only a tiger skin and a garland of skulls. He doesn’t demand riches; he blesses even those who offer just a leaf or a drop of water with love. Shiva is the god who accepts you as you are. Whether you are broken or lost, joyful or doubtful, he never turns you away. When...

Life’s Plan

Image
This morning, as the soft golden light filtered through the curtain and a warm cup of black coffee rested in my hands, I sat by the window of my small condo. The world outside was slowly waking up, birds chirping, a distant honk here and there, and that familiar calm before the city rushes into motion. As I sat there quietly, some thoughts came uninvited, memories, events, a few regrets, and some surprises from the past few months. They passed through my mind like an old movie reel. And while I sipped my coffee, one quiet truth whispered louder than the rest: we make so many plans, don’t we? We plan our careers. We plan our relationships. We even plan the next five years, ten years, and sometimes, our whole lives. But then… life takes a turn. And suddenly, the road we carefully mapped out begins to crumble beneath our feet. Maybe you’ve experienced it too. You wanted to stay in a job, but you had to quit. You thought someone would stay forever, but they didn’t. You worked hard fo...

Caged Wild

Image
You know, a strange thought crossed my mind today while I was just sitting quietly with a cup of Coffee in hand. I don’t know why, but it stuck with me. “Indeed, hearts are wild creatures… that’s why our ribs are cages.” And the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. Have you ever noticed how our hearts always want things they shouldn’t? A person we shouldn’t fall for… a dream we shouldn’t chase… a feeling we try so hard to ignore? Yet the heart, stubborn as ever, doesn’t listen. It keeps beating for things that may never happen, keeps longing for people who may never turn back, and keeps hoping even when logic tells us not to. It’s like the heart has its own mind, wild, free, untamed. It doesn’t follow rules or limits. And maybe that’s why we need a cage of ribs around it. Not just to protect it physically, but to keep it in check. Otherwise, who knows where it would run? There have been times in my life when I knew something wasn’t right for me, but my heart still wan...

What You Accept

Image
Life is shaped not only by our dreams or ambitions, but by the silent agreements we make every day, with others, with situations, and most importantly, with ourselves. One of the most overlooked truths is this: “you will get what you accept”. We all have our definitions of what we deserve, in love, in friendships, in work, and in life. We visualize a life of peace, respect, happiness, and fulfilment. But often, what we live is very different from what we imagine. And that gap, more than anything, is created by what we quietly tolerate. Think of the times you’ve allowed someone to speak to you harshly without speaking up, the times you stayed in a place where you felt drained just because it was ‘secure’, or the moments you kept giving to a one-sided relationship, convincing yourself that this is what love means. These are the subtle ways we accept less than what we truly need. And life, in return, offers us more of the same. Acceptance doesn’t always come with big decisions. Some...

The Fastest Repliers

Image
Have you ever noticed how some of the busiest people you know, the ones constantly rushing from one meeting to another, juggling multiple responsibilities, working long hours, or managing both work and home, somehow respond to your texts and emails faster than others who seemingly have much more free time? It feels strange at first. Logically, we assume that people with more time on their hands would be quicker to reply. But in reality, it’s often the opposite. This isn’t just a random observation. It reflects something deeper about the way people manage their time, their mindset, and how they view communication and responsibility. Busy people tend to be quick responders not because they have more time, but because they value their time, and yours, much more. Time, for them, is like currency. They don’t waste it, and they don’t let small tasks pile up. When a message comes in, they see it as one more task that needs to be dealt with. If it’s something that can be responded to q...

किताबें ही काफी हैं…

Image
