Happens Thrice
They say love happens only once,
but life often proves otherwise. Love is not always about finding one person
and staying with them forever. Sometimes, it takes more than one love story to
teach us what love truly means. They say love happens three times in life, and
each time, it teaches us something new.
Innocent One
The first love is like the first
rain of the season, fresh, exciting, and full of dreams. It often happens in
our teenage years or early adulthood. This love is innocent, free from
complications, and full of hopes for a perfect future. It makes us believe in
fairytales, in soulmates, in the idea that love is meant to last forever. This
is the kind of love where we do silly things, write long messages, and smile
endlessly while thinking about the person. But most first loves do not last.
They are like a beautiful dream that we wake up from, realizing that love alone
is not enough to keep a relationship alive. The heartbreak that follows teaches
us our first lesson; “Love is Beautiful, but it is Not always Permanent.”
Painful One
The second love is different. It
comes when we are a little older and a little wiser. This love is deep and
intense, but also full of struggles. This is the love that teaches us about
pain, betrayal, and disappointment. It shows us the harsh reality of relationships;
the fights, the misunderstandings, the heartbreaks. This is the love that
changes us forever. It teaches us what we truly need in a partner and what we
cannot tolerate. Sometimes, it is unbalanced; one person loves more than the
other. Sometimes, it is passionate but toxic. We hold on, thinking that love
means sacrifice, but eventually, we realize that “No Love is Worth Losing Ourselves.”
When this ends, it breaks us completely. But in that pain, we grow. We
become stronger, wiser, and more aware of what love should and should not be.
Unexpected One
The third love is different from
the first two. It comes when we least expect it, and it is nothing like what we
imagined. This love does not follow the rules of society or the perfect image
we had in our mind. It just happens, and it feels right. This is the love that
finally feels easy. There are no unnecessary dramas, no proving points, no
constant battles. This allows us to be ourselves. It is patient, kind, and
understanding. It is built on friendship, trust, and mutual respect. This makes
us realize “why the first two did not work out.” Every heartbreak, every tear,
every lesson was preparing us for this. It is the love that finally stays
because it is real, effortless, and meant to be.
Why Thrice?
Love happens Three times because
each love teaches us something valuable. The First love shows us the magic of
love. The Second love teaches us its pain. And the third love, if we are lucky
enough to find it, proves that true “Love Exists, Not in Grand Gestures or Perfect
Fairytales, but in the Quiet Moments of Understanding & Acceptance.” Some
people find their Third love early, some take longer. And some never give up,
believing that somewhere, their true love is waiting. Because in the end, love
is not about how many times it happens; it is about finding the one that lasts.
