What’s Meant for You Will Find Its Way
Life has a strange way of
unfolding. Sometimes, we hold on too tightly to things, fearing that if we let
go, we'll lose what matters most. But the truth is, what’s truly meant for us
will always find its way back; no matter how far it drifts away.
I remember a story about a
young man named Raghav. He had been working tirelessly in a bank for several
years, yet his heart was set on joining the aviation industry. Despite his
consistent efforts, every opportunity seemed to slip through his fingers. He
applied to countless airlines, reached out to recruiters, and spent hours
refining his resume. Each time, he believed this was the one. Yet rejection
letters kept piling up. One day, Raghav received a promising opportunity from
an international airline based in Dubai. The interview went well, and he was
confident he'd finally break free from the banking world. Weeks passed, but
there was no response. Slowly, hope turned to frustration. Raghav began
questioning everything; his skills, his fate, and even his dreams. “I’ve done
everything I could,” he muttered to himself one evening. “Maybe this isn’t
meant for me.” With a heavy heart, Raghav decided to let go. He stopped
obsessing over emails and job portals. Instead, he focused on improving his
current role at the bank and started exploring new hobbies. He picked up
reading, something he had long abandoned. He also began volunteering at a local
NGO on weekends, meeting people from various walks of life. Months later, just
when he had made peace with his circumstances, an unexpected email arrived; an
offer letter from the very airline he'd once pinned all his hopes on.
Apparently, the delay was due to internal restructuring, and now they wanted
him to join immediately. Raghav was stunned. He had spent so long chasing this
opportunity, and the moment he let go, it found him.
Looking back, Raghav realized
something important; letting go doesn’t mean giving up. It means accepting that
some things are beyond our control. It’s about trusting that what’s meant for
us will arrive in its own time.
Life often tests our patience.
We may pour our hearts into something; a relationship, a career goal, or even a
personal dream; only to watch it slip away. But if we cling too tightly, we
risk losing ourselves in the process. Letting go creates space; space for
growth, for new experiences, and most importantly, for destiny to work its
magic. Think of a butterfly. If you try too hard to catch it, it will keep
fluttering away. But if you sit still, calm and patient, it may just land on
your shoulder. Sometimes, the things we chase aren’t what we truly need, and
the things we let go of are the ones destined to return. Raghav’s story isn’t
unique; life is full of such moments. The key lies in believing that what’s
truly meant for you will always find its way back, no matter how lost it seems.
So, if you’re feeling burdened
by something that’s slipping away, take a deep breath. Let it go. If it’s truly
yours, it will find you; in the right place, at the right time, and in a way
you never imagined.
